FANTASY BASEL – The Swiss Comic Con is one of the largest pop culture conventions in Europe, catering to fans of film, games, comics, cosplay, fantasy, anime, and manga. Over three days, creative minds, exhibitors, artists, and fans from all over the world meet in one place to exchange ideas, attend panels and workshops, and celebrate their passion for fantasy worlds.

3LSF (Three-Country City Festival)

The 3LSF (Three-Country City Festival) is a one-of-a-kind music festival. Every year, around 20,000 people of all ages gather here to enjoy performances from a wide variety of bands.

International acts and well-known local ensembles perform on the main stage at Rathausplatz. Additionally, marching bands from Germany, France, and Switzerland play throughout the square and along the “Vereins-Meile” (Club Mile). This festival corridor consists of more than 20 stalls connecting Rathausplatz with Sparkassenplatz, where local clubs from Weil offer delicious food and drinks at affordable prices.

Admission to the 3LSF is free of charge.

Swiss Yodeling Festival Basel 2026

The Swiss Yodeling Festival is one of Switzerland’s largest and most traditional folk culture festivals. Every three years, thousands of yodelers, flag throwers, and alphorn players from all over Switzerland come together to present their art. In addition to competitive performances, parades, concerts, and numerous encounters shape the cityscape and make the festival a major cultural event for locals and guests.

Admission to most public events, parades, and festival areas is free.

Basel Tattoo 2026

The Autumn Fair is an important meeting place for families, locals and guests from the entire region.

Admission to the Autumn Fair is free.
Costs are only incurred when using rides and when purchasing food and goods at the market stalls.
