Basel Autumn Fair 2026

The Basel Autumn Fair is one of Switzerland’s oldest and most traditional folk festivals and has shaped the cityscape of Basel for over 500 years. For several weeks, various squares in the city center are transformed into lively fairs with rides, market stalls, culinary specialties and traditional attractions. The Autumn Fair is an important meeting place for families, locals and guests from the entire region.

Admission to the Autumn Fair is free.
Costs are only incurred when using rides and when purchasing food and goods at the market stalls.
